I used to smoke and quit cold turkey 4 months ago. I am still dreaming of cigarettes and crave them every day. Very badly. I manage not to smoke still. How does one manage the stress in life after giving up the one thing that took you away from life for a moment to chill out. It feels like nothing is good enough except for choclate, which makes you fat. how can i calm that beast inside me ?

i have been quite ill (vomiting) since the start of the week. I have decided to take advantage of this sudden illness, and have stopped smoking cigarettes and marijuana. Today, I feel really cranky and short tempered. How long does these withdrawals last for? I have been smoking both for about 15 years now, and yes, have stopped cold turkey. Would appreciate your opinions/experiences.
